Route
In the first part of the route, we will descend to Ribeira da Nave; in this descent, we can perceive the grandeur of the land and, at the same time, enjoy fantastic views over the river. As the typical houses with granite construction appear gradually, all were inhabited by families that survived agriculture.
We started the climb with about 300m of accumulated area up to the "Selada" mount, in this climb we have landscapes worthy of a postcard about the village of Loriga. At the top, find the viewpoint "Penha D´Águia", where you will have the best panoramic view of the village.
We went down to the Guarda house and went back to marked trails, this time with a Roman sidewalk to follow the path to the village. During this journey, we still have the opportunity to cross the Roman bridge, a single arch bridge under the Ribeira da Nave.
